Abstracts
Korean Association for Aerosol Research (KAPAR) has maintained academic exchanges with Japanese Association for Aerosol Science and Technology (JAAST) since 1994, and fostered bilateral cooperation among many aerosol researchers. Asian Aerosol Conference in Busan (2001) and subsequent meetings, including 2014 IAC and 2017 Jeju AAC, further strengthened these interactions. However, COVID-19 pandemic completely halted these exchanges, interrupting over two decades of cooperation. KAPAR researchers visited JAAST and presented their recent research. The delegation also held discussions with the President of JAAST regarding challenges in aerosol science and technology. We believe that this visit will help to establish Korea–Japan aerosol research cooperation for the future.
